STORM RELATED CLOSURES, UPDATES FOR THURSDAY:
Thomas Heyward Academy in Ridgeland, SC, will have a delayed opening for school on Thursday, February 13th. School will start at 10:00 a.m. and dismiss at the regular time.
Beaufort County Government offices will delay opening until 10 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014.
Due to the possibility of hazardous driving conditions, all Beaufort County district schools and the district office will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday morning, February 13. Afternoon dismissal times at schools will not be affected. Jasper County Schools will open at 11am.
Due to the possibility of dangerous winter weather, health departments in Liberty and Long counties will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 13. As a reminder, the Effingham County Health Department and the Pembroke location of the Bryan County Health Department will also delay opening until 10 a.m. on February 13. Coastal Health District officials will re-evaluate the time of the delayed openings at those two health departments should conditions deteriorate overnight.
All Technical College of the Lowcountry campuses will delay opening until 10 a.m., Thursday, February 13 for all students, faculty and staff. Classes and normal business operations will resume at that time.
Effingham County Health Department (802 Hwy. 119 South in Springfield) and the Pembroke location (only) of the Bryan County Health Department (430 Ledford Street) will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 13.
Lowcountry Day & Camp Lowcountry Day will open at 9 am Thursday 2/13/2014
Calvary Day School will have a 2-hour delayed opening for Thursday, February 13th due to inclement weather. School will begin at 10:15am.
Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools and Administrative Offices will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow (Thursday, February 13). This excludes all Custodial, Maintenance, and Campus Police personnel who will report as directed by their supervisors. Additionally, all School Nutrition staff will report to their assigned sites by 9:00am. Morning services offered through the YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Pryme Tyme Program at SCCPSS school sites will be cancelled.
Palmetto Breeze bus services in Allendale, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper (Routes 308, 851) Counties as well as northern Beaufort County Routes 501, 401, and 309 will NOT operate tomorrow, February 13, 2014. Jasper County Route 850 and 852 are on a 2 hour delay. More ice with hazardous road conditions is expected. All other services will operate as scheduled. Palmetto Breeze expects to resume services again on Friday, February 14th.
Georgia Southern will be closed Thursday.

Due to the inclement weather, Beaufort County Government is canceling all activities scheduled past 6 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, February 12, 2014. The forecast predicts icy conditions on roadways and bridges; therefore, all Beaufort County Government offices will delay opening until 10 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014.
All Technical College of the Lowcountry campuses will close today (Wednesday, Feb. 12) at 5 p.m. for all students, faculty and staff. Evening classes are canceled. Georgia Southern University will be closed all day on Wednesday due to anticipated severe weather.
Learning Center in Statesboro will be closed Wednesday due to weather.
Bible Baptist Christian Academy located in Statesboro will be closed on Wednesday.
Charter Conservatory in Statesboro is closed Wednesday. They have a delayed start on Thursday depending on the forecast.

Beaufort and Jasper County Schools plan to operate on normal schedules Wednesday, although they will monitor weather conditions and forecasts.
Bulloch County Schools will now be CLOSED on Wednesday for students and staff.

The Georgia Day Parade, scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed and rescheduled for Feb. 19, at 10:30 a.m. The parade will take place at the same time, 10:30 a.m., and follow the same route along Bull Street from Forsyth Park to City Hall on Feb. 19.
Screven County governmental offices will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 due to weather conditions.
Screven County Schools will be closed to both students and staff on Wednesday, Feb. 12. A decision for Thursday will be made Wednesday afternoon by 3 p.m.
The Walterboro and Allendale campuses of the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie will be closed Feb 12. No classes will meet and all offices will be closed.
